They are strong enough to be applied by machine without disintegrating. When compost pellets made from swine and poultry manure are used as an organic fertilizer, it is important to distribute them evenly. It is possible to apply chemical fertilizer at the same time.
A further benefit is that the pellets can be spread near residential areas, because they do not generate dust.
